Vegan Review-- Hail Merry

A couple months ago, I was a lucky winner of a Hail Merry prize pack. It had some issues shipping to Canada but it finally arrived yesterday and in excitement, I figured this was a good opportunity to finally do a review for HM. I have loved their products for quite awhile now, the only problem is they aren't sold in Canada (at least to my knowledge). I have tried 3 varieties of their Miracle Tarts while traveling in Las Vegas (you probably saw photos if you follow me on instagram) and I seriously fell in love with them. I occasionally get massive cravings wishing I had a Whole Foods I could raid. I have also tried a couple varieties of their pecans, as well as their macaroons that I received from Healthy Surprise when I had a subscription.

Hail Merry is a completely vegan, raw, gluten-free and non-gmo company. They use healthy pure ingredients and it truly shows.

Merry's Miracle Tarts: I have tried 3 of the six varieties. I have had coconut vanilla creme, chocolate mint and Meyer lemon. It's hard for me to even pick a favourite because each are so unique and delicious. They are sweet, rich but light and amazingly, nutritious. They are a dessert but you could eat them as a meal and not feel sick. I seriously could rave about them all day.

This is my crazy vegan face and it shows just how much excitement I felt finding these.

Okay, let's get onto my prize package. I got this awesome "Eat Raw" shirt, 4 packs of macaroons in each variety and also a coupon booklet (which unfortunately I most likely can't use since I'm in Canada) but I plan on sending it to my bestie in Vegas at some point.

Macaroons
I admit, I am a sucker for macaroons. I love coconut so that's probably one of the main reasons but Hail Merry makes some of the best on the market. Quality ingredients, light, delicious, truly the perfect snack. I like them for dessert. I think the caramel sea salt is my favourite variety from them but they are all delicious and unique. The chocolate believe it or not is my least favourite, I think it's because of the bourbon vanilla they use. I really dislike the taste of alcohol. They are still good, just the last on my list. The only thing I don't like, I have a hard time not eating the whole bag!

Thanks Hail Merry for the awesome prize and for making delicious, nutritious and cruelty-free goodies!
