B-well is really cute sushi cafe with a great selection of vegan options. I love that things are clearly marked on the menu for vegans and vegetarians. They have not only a large selection of sushi rolls but also have a few tofu dishes and other Japanese specialty. The food is prompt and the service is good as well. I particularly like the comfortable atmosphere. Feels a lot like a coffee shop but a little more intimate. Decor and seating is great. Definitely a great place for Japanese cuisine.
I have visited twice and have enjoyed it thoroughly both times. The prices are extremely inexpensive but the quality isn't lacking. You also get great portion sizes and exceptional service. The menu is quite large and they have an impressive amount of options for a vegan to choose from. So far, this is one of my favourite spots in Halifax.

ReplyDeleteI will mention that our tempura has Vegan option as well. Usually tempura butter has egg in it. but we don't use it. We order special butter from Japan. It doesn't sell anywhere in Halifax ,even most retail store in Canada.
