Vegan Review-- Daiya

With the announcement of 3 new products from Daiya foods it seems they may just take over the world. Okay well maybe that is a big dramatic but these products are highly welcomed into the vegan community. Already being a huge fan of both their shreds and wedges, the addition of slices, cream cheese and pizza is very exciting.

The brilliance of Daiya is the fact that all their products are 100% vegan, including no casein, whey or lactose like many other "dairy-free" cheeses contain. All their products are also  free of gluten, soy, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts which means, they are basically suitable for pretty well everyone. However, this doesn't mean a lack of flavour.

Daiya melts, smells and tastes a lot like the real thing. And one of the main reasons so many people come off their dairy cheese addictions, including my own husband.

New: Slices in cheddar, provolone and swiss.
New: Cream cheese in strawberry, plain and chive & onion.
New: Pizzas in cheese lovers, magherita, mushroom and roasted garlic, and fire-roasted vegetable.





Original Daiya shreds in cheddar, mozzarella and pepperjack.
Wedges in havarti, cheddar and jack style.
